limewire 1.8 download
 

When I download v1.8, I get a binary file that my computer cannot open. Help!

I have had the exact same problem no matter which version, or which sight I download. Can someone please address this. As i'm sure you can tell, there are many of us mac users eager to utilize Limewire, but we have yet to get a downloadable version; merely a ".bin" file that after unstuffed by StuffIt Expander becomes an installer that simply throws everthing in the trash. When pulled from the trash, there is another installer there. If I try to use that, I get an error which reads, "Install application could not be run because ZGNativeUtilLib could not be found. This is confounding me. Please help. I see very few replies on this message board. Is there anyone out there??????????????

Well, to get Limewire out of its .bin format you must first open Stuffit Expander. Then you go to to Expand in the file menu (Some version you can press apple and E) then select the .bin limewire file. After expanding yuor should get something called installer poping up (Usually on the desktop) and then double click it. From there you will guided to the rest of the process. i am not sure that it just throws everything in the trash, when i installed it just loaded the install Wizard and that was it.
