Is it maybe cause I changed the names while Limewire was running? And hopefully they won't be red next time I start up Limewire.

Red means the file is unshared. This could be because LW is still "hashing" the file in preparation for sharing.

If all the files are red, then the save folder is unshared. Check the prefs to see what folders are set for sharing.

You can also Control-click one of the red files to get at the sharing options for that file.
