First, the incomplete folder is set in the options under Saving. LW can only use one incomplete folder, and it looks like you are dealing with several. So, you have an old incomplete folder (probably from the last system), and a new one. Just set the Preferences to Save to the one you want, then delete the other. This will probably also fix the problem with the incomplettes not resuming, becasue LW is confused and the info linking to the file has become corrupted (or is using the wrong info, wich is stored in the downloads.bak and downloads.dat files). I'm guessing you may also have multiple LimeWire Preferences folders, in the Home Library and the Hard disk's Library. If it isn't too much bother, finding and deleting all those other Preferences folders will give you a clean start, but that means having to reset all the prefs again. cheers--and see about running Apple's Update: 10.4.1 is now at 10.4.6. http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=303410

Hi Stief, well, I tried to do what you said, and to delete the prefs (I seem to remember though, that I'd done that allready for LW)... and full of hopes restarted LW. but as soon as it restarted, that folder reappeared on my disc (and by the way the progress of the downloaded files still showed 0% on the client). In deleting the prefs, I could find only one such folder, in my library, and nothing at the HD lib. Also, you're mentionning the incomplete folder under saving, but I did really investigate every corner of those prefs... they ask there, where to save files (I guess that is complete files and I choosed a location called "complete folder"). And as for the only mention of uncomplete files, it is, on that same window : the choice to delete automatically the downloaded files, and in how many days... Nothing about selecting the location of it. So, I'm about at the same point, and wondering where the hell can be that recorded old memory or old pref folder !

Just one more datum about that story : in that continuously created folder : My previous home folder's name/LimeWire/Incomplete, and with the 3 empty files, there is no "downloads.bak" and "downloads.dat" files, and, those 3 files are also present uncompleted (but with some Mo of data on it, that means in a newer state) in my true incomplete folder. thanks anyway.
