PREFERENCES STILL DON't Save

My preferences still don't save when I manually close the window or program. I've done it a million times and each time I reopen Limewire.....they're not there.....any suggestions?

I have the same exact problem. I sent them an email asking what was up, and they still haven't replied.

I have the same problem with my mac-version. I had the problem with 1.7 and now its the same with 1.8! Not very funny! If anyone has an idea - please reply.

I just read the answer in an other forum:
Try not to quit with command-q but to exit from the File-Menu with _close_. So everything works :-)))

No, there's no way to close 1.8 or even 1.9 beta on a mac classic OS. I just can close it with ctrl+alt+apple . But this way I lose my settings everytime...

I'm running 1.8 on a Mac with 9.2.2. I'm disappointed to see that right now it's a known but unfixed problem... :-/

Same problem with LW18c on MacOs 9.1 ... Not beeing able to save preferences is a real pain.

LW 18c on MacOs 9.1 does save prefs when you exit via File->close. Took a while to restart to see the result, but well. I'm half-enthused (-:
