version 1.7 eats up 35 MB on OS 9.1 ?!?! i've been using 1.7 and it's been working well. but after a recent reinstall of my system, it seemed slower than ever, and one occasion it refused to open saying there was too little memory (which had never happened) - and i was only running one other app!! so i closed the other app, launched limewire and checked how much memory it was using: 35MB!!! i'd never checked before, but that seemed a lot. so i checked the memory panel through the Information window: and it was set as recommended to about 2MB. what's going on here? how do i fix it? (couldn't find anything in the faq). i don't want to switch to version 1.8, because it doesn't show the number of hosts/files in the search panel anymore (pretty stupid change in my opinion) |
