"Smart" Downloading

It'is not quite clear in the FAQ if the "Smart" downloading function (limewire 1.8) will pick up partically downloaded files. I am connected via modem therfore have a bunch of incompleted downloaded files in the "Incomplete" folder. Is there anyway to restart these files???? Or do I just throw them out & try again (BUMMER). I have stopped the download on some of these files when the host disconnected. Otherwise 1.8 wouldn't allow me to start new downloads from active host. Files that I leave in the download section reactivate when I can find the original host. Will "Smart" connect to different host with the same file names to continue the download???? Is there a way to return the unfinished file to the download section????

Sometimes when the host dissappears, the download keeps saying it's connected to the host (who ain't there) and won't release that file to "could'nt finish" (?) so that another file could start downloading. What do I do to keep that file in the download section so that the "Smart" function can stay active????
