 I assume you have Mac OSX Some details of your system and set up will help. give us the details you see at Apple Icon>about this mac and what java you have installed This will be seen in Limewire about if you can open it, or Applicatios>utilities. There is no uninstall programme. Drag the Limewire application to the trash. And do the same with the preferences folder which is at Users [your name or account on the comp]>library>preferences EDIT also ...which Limewire version?

| 10.4.6 Brand new macbook, but, i've been on macs for about six years.. Limewire 4.12.6 java 1.5.0_05 I tried moving it to the trash, all ov the folders, and then emptying it but, it apparently only sends a copy to the trash...  |
