MacBook Pro - Music that was never downloaded plays on startup, Help!

Hi! I am a mom of a young new MacBook Pro user who downloaded a free version of Limewire before I could check things out. Music she never downloaded plays on startup and will not stop. She cannot listen to anything else on her computer. We have already been to the Genius Bar at the Mac Store where they deleted some startup files. IT temporarily solved the problem only to start up again. She has deleted Lime wire for now hoping that would work, but that did nothing despite numerous reboots. How to solve this problem and what did she do wrong?
Her operating system is the newest version of OSX (sorry I am a PC user and am MAC ignorant). She uses her laptop to transfer music to her nanopod. Please let me know if I need to provided more info.
I would be grateful for any help from the forum.

Hi, jeanjean

I have both 'Moved' and 'Renamed' the title of your thread in order to attract a bit more attention to it...
This is not something bad and implies no criticism towards you, OK ?

Please hang in there and I am sure that you will have people coming to help you...
