"?" in Hosts

Hardware: G4 Quicksilver dual, gig of ram, OS 9.2.1, plenty of bells & whistles.

Hi-- Just got the latest Limewire, even paid for the Pro version. Everything seems ok, except that there are always ?'s in the Hosts column, when it used to indicate the number of hosts. This occurs even when I turn the Ultrapeer thing off, but even then it still has the ?'s and Ultrapeer in the Protocol column. I've also noted a _distinct_ drop in the number of hosts (when I pull the Statistics window), compared to previous versions. Tonight, like 400 vs. 4K in the last version. This is even after letting it sit connected for quite some time. Any ideas? Thanks.

When you turn ultrapeer off in the options that only prevents you from becoming an ultrapeer. You will still connect to ultrapeers. The stats are wrong, which is why a question mark is displayed when you are connected to an ultrapeer as they pass very inaccurate stat info to you. Standard hosts also give inaccurate info.

old post but still applies:
