Just finished installing last night and tried it out. Most downloads are slow 2-10KB/sec, even though I'm on cable and the other end is T3 or faster. Any thoughts? Also, I've downloaded some .avi files that can't be accessed by Divx (blank screen, but playing), and other video files that remain in Limewire format, which can't be opened by Divx, Quicktime, or WinAmp.

Many audio files I've tried to download will give a could not connect. In Napster there was a ping rate, and that's how you determined which was closest to you and therefore provide a faster download time. Thanks for any help.

Even though the source says T3, a modem user can say they are on a T3 connection. For the black screen movies try 4-1 of the FAQ.
