For Apple Use?

Hello world (and hopefully very knowledgeable people)
I'm new to Limewire and it seems to me that I need to know if a program is apple compatible before I download it. Where can I get this info?
Thanks in advance.

When you go to the official website (Lime Wire » Official Website & Free Download, BitTorrent «) you'll see that it supports Windows, Mac, and Linux--you simply have to download the appropriate platform version on the download page. :)

Generally files intended specifically for mac will have mac or osx as part of their name. ;)

i hate to bug the pros but i have a new (from) apple mac book pushing osx 10.5.4 lepord, (pretty sure) with itunes 7.7 or the latest version of it. i have been reading massiv on a couple of forums so this is my ?. itunes and limewire are causing major pan in the butt with each other, i am sort of mac understandable so i tried to delete itunes before reading up on how to do it correctly. now at a stopping point. so i want to reload original os on my mac with the itunes 7.7 but the heck with all the limewire bs. what other music DL can i use that is just as good or better or almost as good that will work with the new itunes without having to do a bunch of reconfiging. i just want to DL some songs casually not 20 a day. i cant believe mac and lw is causing so much problems its disapointing. this looks like a junk windows system 32 error. but i only know enough to get in trouble, also lord of the rings you help massivly on everything heres creds

I am really not sure why everyone is getting so upset about the iTunes bug. The LW playlist in iTunes I personally don't even use. The files will still auto-import into iTunes music library, else you can manually add them. The LW playlist option does not physically add the songs to iTunes, it simply reflects the newest songs that have been downloaded & are sitting in your LW download folder. You can see your most recent iTunes song additions via the Recently Added Playlist. Play them from there. You could also then drag & drop those to a new playlist if you wish to create particular playlists from those songs.
