If your service provider has blocked your connections, all you can do is try another.

However, I suspect your list of connections has become polluted/corrupted.

Have you tried replacing the "gnutella.net" file? I think that OS 9.2 used it, but I can't remember where OS 9 stored it (In the Preferences/LimeWire folder? or was it in the Applications/LimeWire folder somewhere?). Here's the link in case it's different from the one you tried LimeWire Forums

You could also try moving the LimeWre Preferences out of the System folder (or wherever it is), and downloading a new Installer from Lime Wire » Download Out-Of-Date Installers

I think the installer will create a new list of connections.
