What do I do with a "Limewire Document"?

If I download something as a "Limewire Document", how do I open it??

type .mp3 after the limewire doc or .mpg or whatever kind of file it is

This is what you ned to do.

Don't try to open it it by double cliclicking. Instead, just open Stuffit Expander and use it to open the file. It will "unzip" it and convert it to the proper file format.

I don't know if ths helps but,

Try clicking expand and then searching for the document in the pop up file menu. Good Luck

Just add the appropriate file extension!

Sometimes Limewire fails to tell the file exactly what it is. It keeps the generic "Limewire made me" designation.

What did you download? If it's an mp3, just add ".mp3" at the end of the filename and then double click it. This should be all you need for any Mac or Windows OS... I don't know shee-it about any unix OS.
