Downloaded titles won't play and are in GREEN

First time I've ever seen this. I'm on Mac OS 10.4.11, 2GB ram, 75GB HD

Video or audio files?
Green? The file icons you mean? The files on LW or in your actual folder?

Audio Files.

The name of the music file which, after downloading, appears in the downloads window is normally in black print. When clicking to play, the print becomes green and the file does not play, nor does it appear in my iTunes play list.

Thanks

My guess if the file is bogus or corrupt or a virus; http://www.gnutellaforums.com/downlo...load-help.html

When downloading audio files, be sure they show a bit-rate in the search results. And compare to others in search list or in your iTunes to be sure the bit rate seems to match the file size. ;)

BTW the most recent iTunes version does not work well with LW. Files will auto import or add normally. However the LW playlist no longer works with iTunes. That is an iTunes bug, not a LW bug.

I am very curious to know why the files are showing as green. Do they show the iTunes icon?

Thanks. Being an ole dinosaur, running hard to keep up, I never know whether the simple easy answer is the solution. As soon as I learn something new, it's outdated within a month or so! I like your penguins. That was a great series a few years back.

I was able to recreate the issue in the download window after restarting LW. I've taken a screenshot of it, but I don't think I can send an attachment through this forum. OOOH, yes I think I can!!!!!!!!Attachment 4237

Great effort, thank you. :) I thought green meant it was being played. I just verified that it does turn green if previewing the file.
