Here's what you need to know to make Limevirus work on your Mac. The first problem every Mac Limevirus user runs into is the Iterface Crash (menus, etc. won't display properly). Limevirus say's it's Macs Java coding that's the problem; whatever. If you turn off the fax extensions in your Extensions Panel (which you can access under Control Panels menu), the interface will more or less stabilize. Hopefully, you don''t use your computer to send and recieve faxes. Still, Limevirus will crash completely if you don't allow it to access more memory. Control-click on the Limevirus launcher icon , go to Get Info and select memory and add at least 20000k to the program. Supposedly, 7, oops, I mean 6 genius programmers created this program. God, who knows. Maybe after 5 weeks they'll tell us that Satan himself created this program on his own. Good Luck with Limevirus. Download plenty of Busta Rhymes, Incubus, Ja Rule, Linkin Park, Jay Z, Tool, and whatever you can get your hands on before Limevirus crashes and you have to force your Mac to reboot. |
One more suggestion... NEVER click to a different application! If you want to switch to the Finder, iTunes, IE, or whatever from Limewire you should do it by pressing Command + Tab. I say again, switch out of Limewire with "Command + Tab" and you'll bomb less often. g/l |
