Completely erasing limewire Is there a way to completely erase Limewire from my mac? (I'm using leopard) I read the penalties for using peer to peer networks and I was shocked. I know from my computing knowledge that when you hit "Delete" your not really deleting it, your only allowing the computer to write over the file. All I want to know is how to get rid of limewire. 100% gone. As if I never had it. No trace left whatsoever. Help! |
Drag & drop these files to the Trash: :) 1. Applications folder: LimeWire folder 2. User folder: Shared or whatever you named the download folder as, and also the incomplete folder. 3. User folder: LimeWire. 4. Preferences folder: Deleting LW Preferences folder in OSX 5. OSX Drive -> Library -> Receipts folder -> Install imeWire.pkg (see sample image here Can't launch LW: Bouncing in Dock (click on link) |
Seriously? Thanks man! It's completely gone now! (I hope) |
