During program Launch - looking for unrelated CD Every time I launch Limewire, it's asking several times for an unrelated CD. I've seen this problem posted several times with no answers for a fix. I'm sure I'm not the only one that would appreciate a solution to this problem. |
phantom disks Uninstall, then re-install. |
I did an uninstall then reinstall...it does the same thing. It's always looking for a disk that's got nothing to do with Limewire. There must be a preference hidden somewhere that does not uninstall that I can't find. Thanks, though |
Here's something to try but I'm not sure if it will help. There's a cache that MRJ keeps that might have this disk info in it. Quit LimeWire, IE, and other applications that use Java. Locate the MRJ Cache folder. On newer versions of MRJ it's at System Folder:Application Support. I think in older versions this folder is in Preferences. Trash the folder. You might need to restart. Try opening LimeWire again. |
