I am having major problems downloading my songs to my itune player.I have just upgraded, and have never had this problem before untill now. Before I used to just download the songs by just clicking on the song title and it would move straight to the itunes,so I can listen to them. I have re-installed limewire about 6 times now,and have also noticed that I am not getting the mp3 icon that you mentioned in previous notes when the song has being downloaded. Please help me as I am about to give up!!!!!

I'm running on Mac OS 9.2 and I used to click on the 'Launch' button or just double click on mp3s, mpgs, whatever and my default players, itunes or quicktime, would start. Now, on LW 2.2.4 when I do this nothing happens. Sure I can get around it by opening the player first, converting the files through the player app but it seems like a whole lot of extra steps I didn't have to take before. Also, I'm not sure if this by design but there is no Limewire player in options listed under tools, nor is a player option reflected under the library tab. Is this a Mac specific thing or is a re-install recommended here? |

Go to iTunes... Open preferences in the EDIT menu... Click the GENERAL tab... Under "Internet" go to: Use iTunes for internet music playback... Click on SET... Click OK to exit..... DONE!!!!

I just downloaded Limeware 2.3 Pro and now find I can't play mp3 files from within the application. I have an I Mac, running 9.2 on DSL. I did as you suggested on I tunes and it says it's set as default player. But I can't seem to get it to play new downloaded. How do I select the default player within Limewire. There doesn't seem to be an option for this. Thanks...

Go to the Apple Menu and select Control Panels. See if you see anything called File Exchange. If you do, open that. You'll see a window where you can choose which application opens which type of files. Scroll down to mp3 (or hit the M key to get there much quicker). Highlight the application, and select your preferred player.
