Lots of Updates, but is there enough progress? Limewire has gone from 2.2.4 to 2.3.2 in the short period of time that I have been a user. It's good to see that the team are working hard to develop the software and get the updates to the users as quickly as possible. As with all relatively new software, I suppose the temptation for the developers is to add on the juicy gimmicks to fatten up the feature list, but this should be balanced against a need to make sure the core functions of Limewire are solid. They aren't yet. I won't go into details as these are covered extensively in other threads, but I would hightlight the need to sort out the bugs in the Resume function and the need for the ability to continue downloading incomplete files. These two fixes would make me a BIG Limewire fan! Please back me up on this and help the Limewire team stay on track so that we don't end up with another feature-heavy app that doesn't work! |
Limewire 2.3.2 what gives with the new version of limewire? it is noticeably faster, but I can't hold any connections anymore... with the previous version I could have as many as 15 good solid connections, but now it hardly holds one... is this a problem for everyone? or just me? |
