![]() Well, I've installed the Donkey software and am trying to download a 700Mb file over my 512Mbs broadband DSL connection. Now I'm now expert by any means, and I'm sure that this is down to some kind of sharing of bandwidth (or something) but why am I only receiving data at 2-4 Mbs when my connection is 512? I appreciate that data won't get to my machine at the full 512 speed, but for it to be at just 1/100th of my broadband connection speed? That IS slow. If I had a 1Mbs line I guess it wouldn't make anything quicker (in the P2P arena) would it? Like I say, I'm no expert so please feel free to educate rather than berate me on this one. Thanks |
