Go search for "Emma Watson" in Limewire image search, and look at the search results. Unbelieveable. :mad:

any search for using the name of a "star" will usually result in far too much spam (fake files). I wouldn't bother to search for "Emma Watson" because the results will most likely be fake. The spammers love to label their span with popular names. These results will rarely have anything to do the name of the star.

The most common image that will be returned on any image search will be an ad for an iPod.

Oh, now I get the Ipod thing. :d I've seen the videos that have an Ipod, and it has an ad for a website flashing on it.

yes, the ipod thing is annoying. But its not just celeb searches that do it, for some (like me), everything you type gets an ipod ad. I wish the Limewire people would try to fix this!

The ipod ad uses the exact same file size for every one of its copies, regardless of the file names. They could always ban the shairng of files with its exact file size, down to the last byte. True, the spammers could just add file padding, but I doubt anyone mindless enough to abuse p2p networks with immature and childish spamming would have the brains to do so.

For the record, this is not a LimeWire bug.
It is a lowlife spamming the Gnutella network.
