my friend is faster than me
 

my friend and i are both using laptops with wireless internet connections. i live at home and i can download up to 40kbps and he lives in a hotel and he can download 120kbps. how can i download as fast as him?

he probably has better sources, or a faster connection at the hotel. what are you on at the house? i could imagine the hotel would be on a business class cable line, or maybe something faster, depending on the sizes of the hotel and where you live.


ive heard of major city hotels had fiber hookups in their rooms for business travelers.
