LimeWire PRO 4.10.0 supports WMV? LimeWire PRO 4.10.0 supports WMV? |
WMV files SINIGANG You can download and play *.wmv files, maybe on a different media player, if you want to but experience has taught many members on this forum to stay away from such files under 10MB. In my early days of using LW, I found that wmv files had traps installed, i.e secretly trying to download and install something onto my PC, which would certainly not have been for my benefit. Luckly for me at the time I was not connected to the internet therefore this piece of rubbish could not download anything, it could only ask me to provide it with a connection. Since then I have stayed away from them and I would advise you to stay away from them too. UK Bob |
re:WMV files I agree...was at the symantec site and a waring about WMV files..take heed!!!!!! |
LimeWire should be blocking any WMV results by default. Anyways, WMV is crap, its a security risk and its proprietary. |
