FBI contacts from downloading movies?

I'm just wondering. If you download a movie or tv show from any file sharing program, will the FBI contact you or arrest you for downloading it?

My one frined said that he got a letter from the FBI saying to delete the movie he downloaded but I'm not sure if telling the truth or lying.

So, is it true or does the FBI go after the people hosting the movie?

A lie. It would be one of the movie studios and they would send the letter to
your ISP who would then notify you. Only your ISP would know who you are.
