limewire download
 

I am trying to download limewire basic on my laptop without success. I get to the part where it says run save or cancel and I have pressed both run and save and nothing happens. I have successfully downloaded on my PC so could it possibly be that limewire is not compatable with laptops? I have read all posts on forum and tried the links offered:confused:

Well, I know it is not the problem with the laptop. I just look for more resources or I cancel the download.

Ok guys, I've had the same problems you are all describing but I've found a fix thanks to Grandpa. In a different thread he gave instructions to download the offline version of Java 6....restart the computer then download limewire and it worked perfectly. I have a "turbo charged connection" after days of not being able to do anything with Limewire. Hope you guys find this information as useful as I did.
