Default LimeWire wont uninstall!

My Limewire had a virus and it would pop up all the time even when you closed it. I Tried to uninstall Limewire all together so i dont have to deal with it. I uninstalled and restarted my computer and LW still tries to start up and i get a message that some files are missing , and that pops up all the time, and LW is still on my computer. How in the F@#$ do i stop this MONSTER!!.

You probably have a worm.

Try the easy fix mentioned at the end of point 2 here, it's worked for a lot of people.
WARNING: Viruses on the network you should be aware of

Always make sure that you're using a good AV program. Keep it updated & use it to scan files that you've downloaded before you open them.

Grandpa, they're running Vista AFAIK. Their other post was about Vista.

I gave them the BFU fix because it's worked for another Vista user before
