download speed only up to 4kb/s

I have recently upgraded to wireless internet, the connection speed is 512 but i only ever seem to get up to 4kb/s on downloads in LW, other downloading is fine, its up to about 60kb/s its just LW. I assume my settings are incorrect. I run vista. Thanks, Sean
