Default Limewire + Vista - McAfee = Still not working

Ok. I uninstalled McAfee thinking this would solve the world's problems. It did not. I am not running Avast and with my Dad's AOL subscription I can get AOL McAfee. However, I am still having problems with Limewire. When I try to run it my screen changes color resoulutions and I get a message saying that Limewire has experienced and "fatal error." When I "send" that message the screen goes back to normal and Limewire closes.

I am at a loss. I cannot get Limewire to open so I cannot adjust the system or options. I am running on Vista and have the most uptodate Java (I uninstalled and reinstalled yesterday).

What can I do?
