sooo slow
 

Hi I'm a newbie to this site but I was wandering why my downloads are so slow lately, I am firewalled and it wont disable . I am running vista , my comp is a 3.2 meg i think. downloads are running at 0-1 kb, i have allowed UPNP though my router but I dont know what esle to do, please help:)

Make sure that the Windows firewall is off & that Norton firewall is configured properly.

Try port forwarding for your router. The instructions are here.

Don't forget the step of setting up a staric IP address first. LW's listening port, port in the 'manual port forward' box & LW's listening port all have to be the same number;)

Is there any chance that you've exceeded your monthly download limit? If you have, you'll probably be shaped back to snail speed & so your downloads will be slow!
