trouble getting limewire to start
 

hi; i am new here and have a new gateway laptop with vista.. when i initially downloaded limewire it worked fine. after shutting down for the night i was never able to start up limewire again. i get a box telling me that the download is corrupt suggisting that i download again. i have tried to redownload many times with the same result..PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!!

Try these fixes...
Try uninstalling your Java from the add/remove programs and then re-install the JRE 5.11 offline version....

Then uninstall Limewire using the uninstaller which is found in start > all programs > limewire...then re-install it using the offline installer...To find the offline installer, use the link below > cancel the installer window when it pop's up and then select the offline installer link...

If that does not help with your problem try deleting your preference folder/s...
