Firstly you will need to open a port in your router for limewire, so you will have to port forward...
These are your instructions...
Port Forwarding for the Linksys WAG54GS

Also make sure you have allowed limewire in your Live Onecare ...

Another thing is your ISP, they do shape bandwidth during peak times..

thank you so much!!! now at error message does not show up, but now no error message is there but nothing shows up, you gave some advice to someone called "helpme!!!!" and i followed the instructions on there, but still nothing shows up

is it something to do with my router not accepting limewire? or something, because Live OneCare is set to allow it and everything, i dont know what to do!!

you said let limewire search for new hosts , but my limewire did not have any hosts to begin with, and it will not allow me to browse for new hosts

Because your limewire has no Ultrapeers (Hosts) it means you aren't connected to the network...
Did you try the Port Forwarding ??
