Hey, just checking back, I still can't get it to work, I even tried unistalling AVG and nothing happened.

wondering why August 5th, 2007 10:49 PM

Let's see...Try uninstalling AVG...

Then uninstall Limewire using the uninstaller which is found in start > all programs > limewire...then re-install it using the offline installer...To find the offline installer, use the link below > cancel the installer window when it pop's up and then select the offline installer link...
Lime Wire » Download LimeWire

Then re-install AVG....

Hey Wondering Why, I just had a box pop up telling me Limewire may not have installed properly asked if I wanted to run or cancel to reintall......... what do you think this is?

OK I have just figured out something...Your modem details that you supplied are for a 56K dial up modem that's built into your computer...

I need the details of what you hook your internet connection up to (the little black box) If you have a look underneath it the info on the brand and model number should be there...

The reason I need these details is because you could have a nat Firewall blocking your connection...

These are your instructions to port forward your modem/router so you can allow access for limewire...
Don't forget the static IP part it's very important...
