 I think from memory (don't quote me) but when your modem is bridged you don't have to port forward... With the freezing try this.. Try uninstalling all versions of Java from the add/remove programs and then re-install the JRE 5.11 offline version.... Archive: Download Java 2 Platform Standard Edition (J2SE) 5.0 Update 11 Once you have done that go back and try the Port Forwarding for your router and use one of the higher numbers eg.64049... With ZoneAlarm, I'm a little unsure, another Vista user had trouble with their's as well, they ended up uninstalling it and using something else...  Another thing to look at as well is AT&T they are known for shaping p2p connections... Router Blocking Limewire! no connection. help please!!
