Vista, parental controls, can't connect
 

Hi guys, My computer will connect to limewire and complete a search if we are on the admin account, but on the user account for me that is not assigned an admin level and is under parental control for internet connections, we can never complete the first limewire step when limewire is first opened and goes to connect to a network. It looks like it is working on-and-on and seems to try endlessly, but never gets there - Thxs

I think if your running LW on both accounts at the same time, LW will use a different port for the second one. It maybe that you need to allow the second port access through your firewall/router.
Have you tried disabling the parental control ??
