LW Frezzing with Vista

OK folks need some help here I am using vista Home and LW keeps freezing at start up I have deleted preference folders tried installing Java 5.11,6.0.6.0 update 2,and it still freezes at the same spot..I am using the Basic package so when it loads to do you want to upgrade to pro ,it freezes any other ideas ?
