Won't connect (ZoneAlarm)
 

Hi people!

I'm running a brand new Acer Aspire 5104 with Windows Vista basic and ZoneAlarm firewall and can't get LimeWire to connect. I have checked the firewall settings and Limewire has full rights in both ZA witch is running and Windows firewall witch is shut off.

Is it the Java-version that's the problem?

When I try to change ports in LW it freezes. LW wount Upnp either.

Hope I have described my problem enough and hope you can help me!

Try uninstalling LW (start > all programs > Limewire & use the uninstall option, don't uninstall via add/remove programs) & ZA. Now reinstall LW. Once that's installed, reinstall ZA. It's worked for a few people;)

If that doesn't work, try using this version of Java. Download the JRE (Java Runtime Environment) offline installer & remove any other Java versions before you install this one.
