please help my limewire will open but wont play anything
 

i open it and click on the song and in the box it shows the title but the song isnt playing. this happened like 3 days ago but it worked perfectly fine before that.
anyone know what to do?:confused:

The limewire player is crap and it's so unreliable...Your better off using a third party player to launch your songs and create playlists...ie itunes or WMP....;)

Follow these steps....

To disable LW player go to Tools > Options > Player and untick the box and select apply...

To make WMP your default player
Go to your shared folder (outside of Limewire) you will find this folder by clicking on one of your files in your LW library and clicking explore...

Right click on one of your MP3 files
Select open with
Select choose program
select WMP
and tick the box that says always use this program to open this file type
Select OK

limewire works fine on my other computer no problems.
i just dont know why all of a sudden it wont play
i want to just fix that

You could try deleting the preference folder, it may help...
This will reset your configurations back to default and get rid of any corruption that may of happened...;)
