where is my preferences folder? i'm having this same problem and have tried a few different things - but i'm not really sure where this folder is in order to delete it

okay i tried following sugested by this forum members

1) deleting the prefrence folder
2) reinstalling java'
3) reinstalling lw and antivirus
4) disabling firewall, also reinstalled it
.....................
Now what? thrs nothing that could start the lw with vista

is there any problm with the "registry editor"

i dont knw whn i bought my new computer at that time the lw was working fine than after some period of time it just dont want to start and it closes down automatically
