Help all my music sounds like the chipmunks

:confused:Help would be greatly appreciated, my music sounds like the chipmunks. Be it audio downloaded from Utube or Limewire-all sounds like the chipmunks. I am a new vista user and not sure where the problem originates.:yikes:
