Default Connection still not working...

1. OS version? Vista
2. What firewalls you have? Windows(disabled), router(disabled)
3. How much ram? 2 GB
4. Hard Disk space available? 200GB
5. Connection type?Cable
6. Modem & router brand name & model numbers? NetGear WGR614 v7
7. Where are you trying to connect from:house
8. What version of LimeWire (LW) & Java do you have? LW 4.14.10, Java 1.6.0_ 02
9. Who is your ISP (Internet Service Provider)? MediaCom
10. Do this simple test for us. Using your browser go here: http://www3.limewire.com:6346/ The page should say 'Your test worked!'. What happens when you go there? It worked
11. Are you sharing the connection with other computers or p2p sharing programs? Connection is shared with 2 other computers in the house, one of the computers has LimeWire Pro and it is working just fine for him. We are both wireless, the other one is connected via CAT5
12. Is this a your 1st try at LW or is this a new problem with an experienced user. I've used LW before, with this issue I have uninstalled and installed LW several times, as well as Java.
13. Do you see a brick wall in front of the blue world icon at the bottom of LW's interface? _yes
14. For those using a modem/router, how is your modem/router set up...are you port forwarding or is UPnP enabled? UPnP is enabled
15. What security programs are you using (antivirus etc)? I deleted Norton, but it was on here previously, I have spybot S&D running
16. What country are you living in?USA

Try the advice in the thread below. Start off by deleting LW's preferences folder. Have you been able to connect in the past with that version of Java? Quite a few people have had problems with the Java version that you have, so try one of the other Javas mentioned in this thread.

Because you have Vista, things are a bit different to XP when finding the preferences folder & other files/folders within Application Data. This thread should help with that: http://www.gnutellaforums.com/genera...der-vista.html

Rather than turning off the windows firewall, just make sure that it's configured to allow LW
