hi im new here and im having trouble with lime wire i only have one bar of conection and it shows firewall detected not sure if problems related but what can i do to get better connection so my searches actually return results:bangh:

I have the same issue. I am running Mac os x 10.5 Leopard. I have tried to tell the firewall to allow lime wire...it does, but the brick wall stays on lime wire. I only have one connection bar. Whats the deal???

I am having the same problem, it just happened one day, i didn't mess with any settings or anything, one day fine, next day not!

I fixed it!!!! Hopefully it works for you! Open limewire Go to Tools- options - advanced - firewall config, then just click restore settings! Hope it works!

I downloaded limewire on my laptop but I can get rid of the firewall on it. How can I make it dissapear?

I tried it bretinna, and it didn't work. I show full bars, but my f/w shows a brick. It is excepted in Windows f/w. I also have avg virus shield but there doesn't seem to be any problem there. Help - how frustrating. It says it is starting a connection, but never connects. Worked on my free version?My info.:

Yes, I do see a brick wall.
