Tools > Options not working... box appears then disappears in 1/2 a second...
 

I've had no problems with Limewire before this - for some reason when I hit Tools > Options, it just hangs there and doesn't do anything for about 15 seconds... then a dialogue box pops up for a fraction of a second before disappearing back wherever it came from. It looks like it's trying to bring the options box up but it just won't stay!

All of the other ones work, except for Filters > Configure Content Filters. The same thing happens with that one too.

I've tried restarting, no luck. Reinstallation doesn't help either. Anything you guys might know is very appreciated, as not being able to change either the options or the content filters is really starting to be a bother.

Sounds like your computer might be infected. Is LW restarting all the time as well? Check out these threads...scanning with AVGFree AV fixed the options problem in the first thread. The second thread has more fixes to try, if LW's popping up all the time as well:)
