Vista Firewall
 

I got a new laptop, running Vista home premium. I dont have a internet connection at home though, I just go around town picking up different wireless signals. I have uninstalled the free Norton trial, and shut off my Windows Firewall (or so it says.) Nevertheless, when I open up Limewire, I get one green bar and the brick wall in front of my globe. I am not a computer wiz, and if anyone has any step by step instructions to fix this, I would really appreciate it. It is driving me crazy.

:mad: I have tried everything, I also got a new laptop, Windows Vista and it gives me the same little brick wall. I also have turned all my firewalls off, but it doesn't do any good. I have even got a dell support group to hack into my computer to try and see if they could fix it, but they say LimeWire can not be connected useing Windows Vista. so if anyone else thinks they could help PLEASE PLEASE HELP ME!!!!!!!!!:mad2:
