file type

hi there all
Please help!
when i download tracks they come down as mp3 format.
when I try to move them to my mp3 player I get an error message.
we have limewire on an older pc running xp and the files come down as real player files and can be moved to themp3 player.
Q. Can I change the file format for downloads

Has the actual 'file format name' been changed from .mp3 to some other name ?

If, "Yes," try clicking on

.mp3 File Name Change Problems? Try Rename-It!-
