'Limewire has stopped working'
 

Recently every time I try to open Lwire a window shows up while it's loading which says 'Limewire has stopped working. A Problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available.'

I uninstalled it and tried to reinstall but the same thing happened during installation.

Any ideas?

You should thoroughly scan your system for viruses etc and try downloading the latest version of Limewire and try again.

I ran Norton antivirus, uninstalled and reinstalled Limeware. The same message popped up. Not stoked, please help.

When you uninstall Limewire make sure all traces of it are gone.
Go into your C:\ directory and make sure it's all gone from in there too.
It should be alll removed before you try re-installing it and see if that solves the problem. Another good thing to do is to read all the sticky threads from this forum and all the other technical support forums. Somewhere in there you should find others with a similar if not exactly the same problem as you and a solution to your problem.
