Cant play downloaded videos?
 

Hi guys pls help:bangh: new to limewire and music downloads ok but when i d/load videos it wont play in media player pls help!!!!!!Daz (newbie be gentle!!:p)

If it's in fact a Good File then you may be having Codec Issues.

You could try a different Media Player. VLC Media Player has Codecs Built in and is Highly recommended here on the Forums. If you want to keep the Media Player that you are using then download only ONE Codec Pac as more than ONE may cause Problems. See the Link Below that LOTR put together for several solutions that may help.

Also Always use Bitzi when downloading Video Files. Instructions below.

This is how it works. After you have completed your search, Right click on the file that you're interested in. Now go to Advanced > Lookup File With Bitzi. Left click on that and a new browser window will open which is Bitzi. Now you will see how other members have rated this file. If you see something like "Bitprint not found" then Leave it alone. Its probably a Fake or Corrupt File. If it has been Rated then you can read what or how the members feel about the file.

Thanks,tried to d/load Vista Codec Package v4.4.7 Beta 4a but it said I dont have permission to d/load even tho I'm administrator doin my head in pls HELP!!!!

OK, I'm assuming then you are using Windows Media Player. Me personally will do anything and everything to Stay Away from WMP. It's Nothing but a PITA. You could try K-lite or CCCP Codec Pacs which are probably the best two on the list. No matter what you try only use ONE Pac. I would suggest getting rid of WMP and try VLC, as it has Codecs built in. :D
