Limewire Basic no longer runs with Vista
 

For about 8 months Limewire Basic ran great on Vista Home Premium, but now it won't even start. I've tried the SP2 thing and that hasn't done it.
I've installed Shareaza and Spiral Frog and they both work, but much slower than Limewire. So,, my question is, what am I doing wrong or is there some kind of security thing in Vista that kicks in after about 7-8 months?

i went through every step and its still not letting me connent

Well don't I feel foolish! It was a JAVA script problem. I uninstalled both JAVA script and LW and re-installed. It's now working just fine. I think my 14 year old who "KNOWS HOW TO RUN A COMPUTER" but doesn't know how to power one down may have has something to do with it.
