Help! LW won't connect.
 
I've tried every trick in the sticky and I'm still running up against the same connection problem. Someone please help! :(

I've used the program before on an old computer with XP and it worked fine. However, I recently purchased a new computer and purchased LW again with no luck connecting.

Westell do not utilise UPnP very well. I'd recommend port forwarding the device.

First step is most important:

1. VISTA Static ip setting up

2. Find your model here PortForward.com - Free Help Setting up Your Router or Firewall click on the model link, on following page find LimeWire link. :) Try a port somewhere between 49152 - 65535, such as 64049. Do it for both TCP & UDP. Don't forget to also do that for LW settings connection & listening port too in LW's advanced settings. ;)

I set up the Static ip setting very easily.

On this second part, after I clicked on the above link, I was unable to find a limewire link on the page. Is there some other way to do it?

I presume it's either this one: Versalink327W or this one: Versalink-327W unless you didn't give the entire model number. :)
