When I got Vista all my old windows files were put into the standard Windows.old file. This is where i had LW normally and it would work fine. But after deleting it I tried to download LW again and install it normally, it starts up but gets no further than loading then I get the Limewire has stopped working error, usually on the status bar its usually on digital audio access protocol. This same error also happend when trying Frostwire and sadly enough myspace while using IE. Im not for sure what setting is not allowing me to accese these things if you can help that would be great. Thanks in advance.

Check the compatibility mode of LW, make sure it's set to admin and to vista. ie: right-click the program to see options. :)
Check the VISTA Stickies for advice on installing VISTA, as it needs to have certain Admin permissions applied. :)
