Unable to start LW

:bangh:Sorry maybe I posted in the wrong forum.
I have not been able to open LW at all. I have un-installed, re-installed 4 times. I have bought the 6 month Pro version like an idiot because last month I got the free version to work. But I am desperate because iTunes will only work with LW. I have tried FW and M3Rocket and they both said that they were not compatible with this version of iTunes. I wrote iTunes and they were no help and LW is no help. But I will write again. It is not my Java just downloaded most recent version and my firewall is fine.
:mad2:HELP. Does anyone know how to help me.
Vista Premium, 2gb mem. 60gb hard drive.
Thanks for any help.
Joanne

Try deleting your preference folder hopefully that will get limewire running again for you...You will find the steps for this within this link...Just scroll down...

As for your itunes just be careful not to update to latest version as it is no longer compatible ....
Itunes 8

I think I answered you. If I can't even open LW how can I have a preference folder? I looked but there was not one. I posted again today under "unable to connect" Can you read that one and maybe answer my questions esp what it mean when I fail that test?
Thank you,
Joanne

Your not meant to have limewire open when you delete the preference folder...If you read the instructions in the link I supplied, you would know that....Actually I think your quiet rude, so I'm not going to read the other thread....

I apologize for the rudeness but I don't know what post you are talking about. I am not a rude person and I can't imagine what I said. I feel terrible. Please help me fine the post please so I can read it.
Thank you
Joanne

I just read the post. I don't understand where I was rude. I was only asking a question about something I did not understand. And I don't know what "I think I answered your question" but I don't remember the question I answered. My memory is horrible,as you can see, but I cannot help that. It is a result of a bunch of mitigating factors(medicines) Please accept my apology.
If my post was interpreted as rude I don't blame you for not looking at the new post.
Thank you anyway
